E-Math is an EU-project funded by the Central Baltic Programme IV A . The project was started in May 2011 and will end in December 2013. The project has developed a new teaching method for high school mathematics. This method is based on using interactive e-books in combination with a new way of presenting mathematical arguments called structured derivations.
The method has been thoroughly tested in 15 schools in Estonia, Finland, and Sweden, with around 400 participating students. The response on these pilots has been very positive, both from the mathematics teachers giving the pilot courses and from students.
